About me
This is my first time creating a blog. I don’t even know where this is going to go, but I’m excited and I can’t wait to share my thoughts on life, love, and all things horror!
A little about me I was born and raised in a Catholic home in Albuquerque, NM. July 19th 1982 was the year I was born. I was raised with two parents. I have 3 sisters and a brother. After a few years my parents adopted my niece from my older sister. We didn’t always get along, but fast forward to today she was my maid of honor in my wedding.
In 2010 I met the man of my dreams and got married to him in May of 2021. I wore a black dress (a dress he picked out for me a few years before we got married) and he wore an amazing Scottish outfit for the ceremony.
I lived in Albuquerque all my life (with the exception of visiting other states) but never really left to live anywhere else.
I’m September of 2021 my husband and I decided it was time to leave New Mexico for the great state of Texas. We now live in a small town in a gorgeous 3 bedroom 2 bath house. I have a job at a nursing home working as a housekeeper. I absolutely love my job. It gives me something to do, making a little extra money, and getting to talk to new people who lived in this town.
Back in Albuquerque when my husband (boyfriend at the time) lived in his one bedroom apartment I started dabbling in making jewelry. People loved it and so I ended up making more and then it started selling! It was extremely exciting to see my jewelry sell and me being able to make a little extra money on the side. So I continued to make jewelry.
My husband and I have 4 cats and one dog. Unfortunately for us we can’t have kids. I’ve always wanted to have at least one kid, but that’s never going to happen. See I have PCOS and I’ve been told multiple times I couldn’t have kids. Not that I haven’t tried, but it just never happened for me. I’ve always loved the thought of having a little baby running around the house, but that dream was cut short. I’m about to turn 40 years old this year. I always told myself I wouldn’t have kids in my 40s. My parents had me at 42 and it was extremely hard growing up with older parents who didn’t ever have time for me. Luckily we had a bunch of older sister. One of them (who’s 12 years older then me) actually help raise me. She kinda shaped me to be who I am today.
Who am I? I’m a caring and loving woman who loves horror movies, 80s music, hard rock music, going to concerts, movies, playing D&D, and loving my little family that my husband and I created here in small town Texas.
Why am I making a blog? Well I’ve always wanted to write a blog about myself, love, life & horror. You’ll definitely get a little bit of everything in this blog. Maybe even some DIY.
Hopefully you’ll stick around for more of my thoughts about love, life, and horror. Thanks!
